One of Senator Obama's supporters commented today in Texas when asked about his relative inexperience: "Well, he has to start somewhere ".
.....In the Whitehouse ???

I am glad that these are being evaluated closely. He is like a prematurely born baby, who did not complete his full term. Like these babies, he is cute and charming but time will tell how well he does in school when the real test comes.

Well, McCain is old, so you could say ''McCain's too old" so there!!!
Any comments ?
That is sad, but frankly most of his supporters do agree that it is okay that Obama is inexperienced. I think maybe his supporters are inexperienced as well.
Any comments ?
Nobody should start their experience in the white house, one big mistake and bad things happen. Better let him make mistakes in the senate first and then learn from them before running.
Any comments ?
His experience started many years ago when he was elected overwhelmingly into senate.
Obama '08

Jimmy Carter all over again. Remember what a terrific job the one term Georgia Governor did? Obama is not ready for prime time.

I have never seen a President who had any "presidential" experience until he got into the White House, with the exception of an incumbent being re-elected. Being a senator, a governor or a scuba diver never qualified for having experience. There is only one job as President, so unless you've already been President, how can you have any experience at it? This whole experience argument is a crock.

Obama's supporter want to believe, need to believe in change..This is their choice... I find them less fussy with Obama than Clinton...People are expecting more from Obama, but on the other hand are less regarding about his experience, his record...They say that he is inspiring...I find the media well-inspired, they have built a phenomenon, and I would like to know what they are going to do with him now ?
Any comments ?
He has had experience... just not as much as the others. If Obama got some good old experienced people to counsel him while in the white house he could do great.

Sometimes inexperience can be the best qualification. You'd be amazed at how much gets done because whippersnappers don't know it can't be done.
Yes, Obama doesn't have a lot of experience at being a hack, at being corrupt, at being divisive, at the Politics of Fear. In short, he lacks experience at playing the game of Politics they way it's been played for a while now.
He'll make mistakes. Every President does. But at least they'll be NEW mistakes and the same old mistakes are just digging us deeper in the hole.
Besides, it's arrogant to talk about "Experience" in terms of the Presidency. Every past President has said that there is nothing even close to sitting in the hottest seat in the world. And that nothing except a strong character can really prepare anyone for it.

Obama is inexperienced in almost every thing else execpt politics
unlike Hillary who is experience but not as much in politics.
Obama political experience 11 years
1996 to 2005 and 2006 to 2008
Hillary has as much political experience as she was senate that tells us a lot about New York that the elected some one who has basicly 0 experience.
Obama has more political experience than Hillary has and that to me is what counts.
Hillary sucks

All the first time voters would say that, because they have no relative experience to compare to except Bush and the media and news tell everybody how bad and messed up things he is and did, so they figure inexperience could do no worse.
Its sad but I understand the rational. They could be as young as 10-11 when 9-11 occurred and they remember Iraq as dividing America rather than when America came together after 9-11.
Hopefully they will see the light and the need for experience as Presidential material. Hillary?...they should vote for her?
So. McCain. I am struggling with McCain but he will get my vote.
