Without excusing yourselves with all the usual rubbish about 'getting the truth' and 'being on the child's side' can I just remind you what the very core of all the nasty comments, half-truth theories and joking about the teddy, the parents and everything else is for a second, regardless of what the truth actually is (which none of us know yet). Madeleine is the reason WHY people are so angry at the McCanns. This little girl disappearing for no reason is Why the McCanns have been subject to so much abuse because they enabled this to happen. Do you honestly think that if people didn't care about Madeleine or know just how important she is in all of this, that they'd even care in the first place? They wouldn't. It's because people care about Madeleine that they are so angry. Your "usual rubbish" and "truth" and "being on the child's side" is at the very heart of all this debate. How can you not see that?

No smoke without fire and for the record I have always thought anyone who leaves 3 kids in an unlocked appartment at night in a foreign country deserve nothing more or less than the backlash they are getting now.

Poor Maddie deserved to be properly looked after by the 2 people in the world who were supposed to protect her from harm.

I think they did it or know what happened. I haven't been following the case nearly as much as the others, but the whole situation just smells of the caca...

With THAT said, people eat this stuff up because it gives them something more exciting to think about. If their lives are empty and/or stressful or otherwise miserable, they gravitate to stories like this to escape.

Fact : A professional married couple leave their 3 children aged under 4, ALONE in a foreign country while they had dinner with friends

Fact: They neglected and endangered they re children

I do feel sorry for her ENTIRE family, and anyone who is effected by this whole case. But, to be fair, she is most likely dead. It's a horrible thing to say - but it's probably true. Also - her parents are DEFINITELY to be blamed. They left three children (all under the age of 4) alone in a hotel, while the parents went out for dinner. If that's not their fault, what is?!

If the shoe fits and it sure does then let the McCanns wear it, you honestly still think even with blood traces of that little girl in a rented car of all things is not proof enough?. Much less that crappy made up story they tried to pass off and to think so many believed them at the start. Those parents deserve everything getting handed out in words now.

it probably goes a little further than that tonight, suppose it's al the drunks and smack heads getting back from the pubs.

I am no McCann supporter, i dont care if they did it or not,the sun will still rise tommorow no matter who is guilty.

However i have seen nothing but a bungling incompetent police force, stunbling through this case from the start, they are looking for a patsy and will hang it on anyone they can brow beat into it.

What is the point of everyone screaming for these two to be charged, only for the case to collapse in court and probably he real culprit never stand trial and possibly divulge the whole story.

Surely everyone with any sense should be screaming for the real culprit (whoever that may be) to stand trial.

All the armchair detectives on here and all the "I knew from the first time I saw them" brigade, like the rest of us, haven't got a friggin clue who did it.

Put your efforts into finding the real culprit and getting them on the stand, not the one who you think looks like the culprit.

Pain and angst beyond which we are capable of imagining in our worst nightmares, look for a moment out of their eyes, from their memories of their little girl. Imagine how it feels to be torn by the hope she is alive and the horror of where she may be if she is alive. please wait and deal with the full facts. Please wait and see. I understand where you coming from and I have read most of these post's on here about Maddeline... I have my own thought's on this incident which I'm not going to put on here... I don't think you can stop people speculating or talking about this, it's constantly in the news and rightly so..if this little girl was abducted then people will talk...if something else happened to her..then people will talk...it's human nature.Most if not all of the people commenting on YA about this have a heart and it is devastating that this little girl has disappeared however it happened..Also I think the crank's on here post stupid questions to get a reaction as they obviously have nothing else in their live's ! The truth will out !

People will always make jokes or strange comments about anything and everything.

If you're not personally involved in the case, don't take it to heart what people say, just live your life and let the McCann's worry, it is ultimately (and luckily) their child, not yours.

Kids go missing everyday all over the UK, yet we *only* get to hear about one of them because she is from a well-heeled background and beautiful looking. You could argue if she was from the family of a pig farmer, obese and ugly, then the TV news networks wouldn't be interested.

Maybe some peoples posts are a sign of their frustration of this fact. That if the McCann's didn't earn 鎷?00,000 p/a then they wouldn't have met Tony Blair, The Pope, or had David Beckham supporting them. No doubt some people are a little envious (rightly) of this, when other kids plights get ignored.

Having said that, I'm sure everyone who does write things that annoy you, would never dream of any harm to come to this child, or any other that goes missing.

Yes, we all on the same side re Madeleine, and no, no one has forgotten her. But life goes on and sometimes its good just to kick back once in a while.

I would hazard a guess that they fall into the category of "Sun" reader who are notorious for sensationalising and expanding the truth as well a sprinkling the whole story with large quantities of speculation without presenting a fact or solid piece of evidence.

Fact that is consistent is these people get sucked in to this whirl wind of half truths, part truths and nothing but thin air truths that they are ready to believe whatever scandal that pops up.

The only real solid evidence is what comes out of their @sses when they go for a dump.

Until the police can come up with a hard facts to these events that can shine a light of truth on the affair, they will always be clutching at straws.

What everyone has overlooked is that she went missing and how. She was nearly 4 and like all children of that age capable of getting up off her behind and opening doors and wandering off. IMHO the whole investigation has been a cock up from the outset and it is My opinion that they are now clutching at straws to find or make the evidence fit and point the finger of blame because it is such a high profile case they are under pressure to come up with a result when they are clueless.

I believe that the person who facilitated the crime coerced the child to go of her own free will, children are too trusting as they do not understand the world and all its horrors.

I still sit on the fence until theirs proof to the contrary and I avoid the speculation like what is offered up on a daily basis in the tabloids who are merely profiteering from such a sensational story.
